Personal Licensing Agreement
This agreement is in perpetuity, and is entered into by and between Emily Jing Sum Chan, hereinafter referred to as the “Designer”, and purchasee, hereinafter referred to as the “Grantee”.

Definition: All fonts consists of a full Latin uppercase and lowercase letter sets, accents/diacritics, numerals, alternate characters, ligatures, symbols and punctuation. Fonts are provided in the medium of .otf and .woff files, to be used in print, digital and web forms. Fonts hereinafter will be referred to as “Typeface”. Whereas, the Grantee wishes to use the above described work for the creation of print, digital and web personal projects, any of which shall not be offered for sale by the Grantee.

Now therefore, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth above and below, the parties agree as follows:
  1. The Designer grants the Grantee the exclusive right to use the Typeface for personal use as they see fit. This grant does not permit the Grantee the rights to distribute and sell work, that includes the Typeface.
  2. The Designer shall be the sole owner of all copyrights and intellectual property rights in and to the Typeface. The Grantee is not required to cite this copyright when using the Typeface. However, the Grantee does not have the rights to assign copyrighting and intellectual property rights in and to the Typeface towards themselves.
  3. The Grantee is not permitted to distribute and/or sell the Typeface to any third party.
  4. The Grantee agrees that if any part of this agreement is breached, the Designer will immediately terminate this agreement and the Grantee’s rights to the Typeface in any way, shape or form.
  5. This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of New York, which shall be interpreted in accordance with national and international copyright laws.
  6. This agreement shall not be amended except upon a new agreement signed by both parties.
  7. The terms of this license is in perpetuity, commencing upon both parties signing this contract.

Commercial Licensing Agreement
This agreement is in perpetuity, and is entered into by and between Emily Jing Sum Chan, hereinafter referred to as the “Designer”, and purchasee, hereinafter referred to as the “Grantee”.

The Designer understands that all profit from the sales of work, that includes the Designer’s Typeface, will benefit 
the Grantee.
  2. The Designer shall be the sole owner of all copyrights and intellectual property rights in and to the Typeface. The Grantee is not required to cite this copyright when using the Typeface. However, the Grantee does not have the rights to assign copyrighting and intellectual property rights in and to the Typeface towards themselves.
